FAQs
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Semi-formal attire, colorful outfits encouraged! Please note that late-August in Pittsburgh is typically quite warm and humid. This is also a backyard ceremony and reception, so there will be some areas that are not paved. Though the reception will be tented and there will be plenty of shade from trees, lighter/breezier fabrics and shoes that can withstand walking on grass-covered surfaces are recommended!
Will there be a cookie table?
It wouldn’t be a true Pittsburgh wedding without a cookie table! For our out-of-town guests who may not be familiar: the cookie table is a much-beloved Pittsburgh tradition that involves a giant table displayed with cookies baked by the wedding party and guests. Guests with a knack for baking are encouraged to bring a dozen of their favorite cookies to add to the table and spread the joy of family recipes.
Are children welcome?
Children are welcome and encouraged! Please be sure to include the names of children from your immediate family that will be attending when you RSVP, and we will touch base with you directly to make further accommodations.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
We aim to accommodate all of our guests’ dietary needs to the best of our ability. If you are unable to choose from one of our standard menu items, please reach out to us directly and we will make sure we provide something delicious for you to enjoy!
Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?
